Un verano de español, naturaleza y América Latina
ISLA Verano es un campamento de verano donde niños que entran a kínder hasta 5.º grado exploran el español y las culturas de América Latina al aire libre. Cada semana, los participantes “viajan” a un país latinoamericano diferente a través de su música, sus cuentos, sus juegos, su comida, su arte y sus tradiciones, todo en español y rodeados de naturaleza.
Los estudiantes hacen caminatas, exploran, juegan y se divierten mientras usan el Español. Aprender un idioma al aire libre, es divertido y los estudiantes regresan a casa con mucha curiosidad por la cultura, y el lenguaje, conectados con el medio ambiente.
Raíces: Cada semana, los niños descubren un nuevo país latinoamericano y las culturas, tradiciones y sabiduría de su gente.
Imaginación: En la naturaleza, los niños exploran libremente, se hacen grandes preguntas y ven el mundo con nuevos ojos y en un nuevo idioma.
Acción: Los niños crecen como estudiantes bilingües y como guardianes del mundo natural.

ISLA Verano is a complete outdoor summer camp.
Created for K-5th grade students, this program aims to expand opportunities for language learning and exploration. ISLA focuses on giving students the chance to fully engage their senses while learning Spanish and enjoying the outdoors. A highlight of ISLA Verano is the immersive experience that allows students to dive deep into the richness of the language.

How It Works
UN VIAJE DE AVENTURAS
At ISLA VERANO, our students experience a thrilling adventure by being fully immersed in a world of language and culture. With our theme of “Un viaje de Aventuras,” they will discover the diverse cultures of Spanish-speaking nations while improving their language skills. We transport our students to different Spanish-speaking countries with our program, where they learn and speak the language in a fun, interactive, complete outdoor exploration environment.
Each week, students will be exploring a different Latin American country while also immersing themselves in the Spanish language and the outdoors. Activities include arts & crafts, experiments, writing, science, cooking, and dancing.

- Plenty of water breaks are given.
